The Late Master Gene Chen

In 1975, Master Gene Chen received Hong Kong certification as the first teacher of Chu Gar Praying Mantis in
the United States.  In the early eighties he stopped teaching Chu Gar and began teaching Chen
Style Tai Chi Chuan.   This photo is from Inside Kungfu or Black Belt magazine.  He was
featured several times in martial arts publications and had a regular column on Chen's Tai Chi in
Wushu Kungfu magazine.
